🎮 THE ASP OVR SYSTEM IS HERE.

We’ve taken the way we report athlete testing at ASP and completely rebuilt it.

The goal? Make performance data easier to understand, more meaningful, and way more exciting for our athletes.

Inspired by the OVR systems athletes already know from video games, every athlete will now receive an ASP OVR score out of 99, built from seven key performance qualities and compared against athletes in their relevant age and sport group.

But the number is only the beginning.

Athletes will receive their complete Athletic Fingerprint — showing where they currently excel, where their biggest opportunities exist, and how their physical profile changes as they train.

TEST → MEASURE → TRAIN → TRACK → PERFORM.

For our younger athletes especially, I wanted testing to become something they can understand, take ownership of, and genuinely get excited about.

Watch your numbers move.

Watch your OVR climb.

This is more than a score.

A little ASP schedule update for next week ❤️

ASP will be CLOSED Tuesday, August 18 and Friday, August 21 as I’ll be travelling to Toronto to celebrate my younger brother’s wedding!

I’m incredibly grateful for the understanding and support of our ASP community whenever family calls. ❤️

The great news — Coach Claire will be stepping in to lead sessions on Thursday, August 20 AND Monday, August 24! 🙌

Additionally, an ASP FAMILY session will be added at 6:30PM on Monday, August 24.❤️

Senior Send Off Year 2 was an incredible afternoon of food, fun, laughter and love!

Everything that I’ve wanted for ASP has been to prioritize the small community that we are and celebrate the *people* in it both inside and outside of the gym; to cook for them as a token of my appreciation for all that they are, and everything that they are becoming gives me such great joy 💙

I am so proud of you all, and I wish we could have had all of our departing athletes together, but alas I will be back in the kitchen preparing some good food for them regardless before they head away!

Thank you all for giving me so much more than I could ever ask for in the value that you all bring to my life, and ESPECIALLY to the incredible influences that you all are to my children 💙

You are all truly set apart, and you all have incredible heads on your shoulders to thrive in this next chapter that life offers you.

I really don’t enjoy having to post this, but I am going to have to postpone ASP Community Day until the Fall.

I was genuinely looking forward to having everyone together tomorrow, working on the space, getting the hand wall started, sharing some food, and just spending a day with the people who have made ASP what it is.

I’m really sorry to everyone who had planned their day around coming out, especially on such short notice. I don’t take that lightly.

This place means a lot to me, and so does doing this day the right way. Rather than force it tomorrow, we’re going to move it to the Fall and make sure we give the community day the time and energy it deserves.

I’ll get a new date out as soon as we have it locked in.
