Dear clients,
Please note the West side of 1st Street entrance to the parking lot is blocked off for water main repairs. An alternate route via the back of the building is still open for access. These repairs may take up to a couple weeks and we will post updates here as we find out more.
We are open during this time and would love to help you hear life, out loud!
We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Thank you!

Hearing loss is not always an all-or-nothing experience.
You can hear some sounds clearly and still struggle with others. You might follow a conversation in a quiet room but have difficulty understanding speech in a busy restaurant. You may hear that someone is speaking without catching what they said.
Hearing loss can affect different sounds, situations and conversations in different ways.
If you have noticed changes in how easily you understand speech, a hearing assessment can help you better understand what is happening with your hearing.

Your hearing aids are doing more than you might realize.
Modern hearing aids are constantly analyzing the sounds around you and making adjustments to help you hear comfortably in different environments.
A quiet conversation at home sounds very different from a busy restaurant, a windy walk or a family gathering. Your hearing aids are designed to respond to those changes throughout the day.
The technology is working in the background so you can focus on what is happening in front of you.

Sometimes, the people closest to us notice changes in our hearing before we do.
If your family and friends could be completely honest, they might tell you they have noticed you asking for repeats, turning up the TV or missing parts of conversations.
Not because you aren't listening.
Not because you don't care.
Because hearing loss can quietly change the way we communicate with the people we love.
If any of this sounds familiar, it may be worth asking yourself: What have the people around me noticed that I haven't?
A hearing check can be a simple place to start.

Hearing Aid Features Explained
One of the biggest misconceptions about hearing aids is that they simply make everything louder.
Modern hearing aids do much more than amplify sound. They are designed to help make speech clearer, manage background noise and adapt to different listening environments throughout the day.
Whether you're having coffee with a friend, shopping for groceries or enjoying dinner with family, the goal isn't to hear more noise. It's to hear the sounds that matter most.
Stay tuned as we break down common hearing aid features and explain what they actually do in everyday life.

Sometimes, hearing changes do not feel like a sudden loss.
They can show up quietly, through the little ways you adapt to your surroundings.
You check instead of listening.
You watch instead of hearing.
You rely on context.
You develop new habits without ever stopping to ask why.
And because these changes can happen gradually, it is easy to assume that the way you are navigating the world is simply the way you have always done things.
Take a moment to think about your own everyday routines.
Have you adapted to something you no longer hear without realizing it?
