He came in before competing in Toronto this past weekend with some lower back and leg pain. We worked through match day mobility drills to get him warmed up, moving freely and ready to perform. We followed it up with treatment to make sure he stepped onto the mat feeling loose, sharp and confident.

Between jiu jitsu, training, travelling and the demands of everyday life, his body was feeling the workload. He came in with stiffness through the upper back, along with tightness around the lower back and glutes

The session focused on releasing the restricted areas, improving mobility through the spine and hips, and helping his body recover so he can continue training and moving comfortably

No matter how active, strong or experienced you are, recovery and maintenance still matter. Sometimes the body just needs a proper reset.
