We knocked off the league leaders, The Indianators-B, chasing 116 in just 14.2 overs to seal a dominant 7-wicket victory. They entered the match as the #1 team in the division, but our boys delivered a fearless all-round performance to pull off one of the biggest wins of the season.

A new leader. A new challenge. One goal. 🏆🏏

We're proud to announce Mr. Alvin Basnet as the Captain of NCCC Scarborough for the 10th Edition of the NCCC Cup 2026.

As we prepares for our debut campaign, Alvin will lead a talented squad determined to make an immediate impact on the tournament. With strong leadership and a competitive mindset, he is ready to guide the team in pursuit of NCCC Cup glory.

NCCC Scarborough will also feature Kavian Naresh - ourbgame development lead and one of Canada's top all-round talents, who has represented Canada U19 and currently competes in MCL Division 1 Pro from NCCC. His experience and quality add significant strength to an exciting Scarborough lineup. He will be playing for Montreal Royal tigers in super cup .

The 10th Edition of the NCCC Cup 2026, proudly partially funded by the Advance Brampton Fund, promises another unforgettable celebration of cricket, community, and culture.

Our NCCC Scarborough Coordinator, Sujan Bohora, who also serves as the Vice President of the Nepalese Canadian Cricket CLUB (NCCC), had the pleasure of attending the community barbecue organized by Nepalese Canadian Community Services (NCCS).

Representing NCCC alongside Sujan were our President, Binay Yadav, Board Directors, Asif Asif and Tapendra Singh Bist, and players Yogesh Pdl Srm and Dipendra Yadav. We were proud to be present and support one of the most prestigious community events organized by NCCS, connecting with members and leaders across Scarborough.

The event was filled with warmth and celebration, where we enjoyed a wide variety of traditional Nepali-inspired food and vibrant cultural dance performances that brought everyone together.

We also had the opportunity to see NeplifyX , showcasing their platform focused on connecting communities and enabling global connection across nations.

Such gatherings play an important role in strengthening community bonds, celebrating culture, and preserving unity across the Nepalese community in Canada.

Ariyo has been a proud member of the Nepalese Canadian Cricket Club since 2022, representing NCCC with passion in Nepalese Canadian Cricket CLUB Cup 2022, 2023, and 2024 before moving to Nova Scotia at the end of 2024.

More than just a gifted cricketer, Ariyo is an outstanding young man—humble, disciplined, respectful, and an incredible team player. His innocence, positive attitude, sportsmanship, and willingness to put the team before himself have made him a role model for many. His exceptional skills, strong work ethic, and exemplary behavior have deservedly earned him this opportunity at the High Performance Camp.

Having already represented Bagmati Province under the Cricket Association of Nepal, Ariyo continues to demonstrate that talent, dedication, and character create champions.
