⛸️ SECTIONAL SERIES SEASON IS UNDERWAY!
What an exciting weekend in Kitchener-Waterloo as many of our skaters kicked off the 2026–2027 competitive season at the first Skate Ontario Sectional Series event! 🔥
We are so proud of all of our athletes who took to the ice this weekend. From strong performances and personal milestones to valuable early-season experience, it was a fantastic way to start another exciting competitive season.

🏖️☀️ Theme Day Thursday brought the beach to the rink! 🌊⛸️
Week 6 of our SCBC Summer Program was all about Beach Day, and our skaters were ready for some fun in the sun… even if we were spending the day on the ice! 😎 From tropical shirts and sunglasses to colourful leis and plenty of beach-inspired looks, everyone embraced the summer vibes.
It’s hard to believe we’re already six weeks into an incredible summer! We’re loving all the energy, creativity, and memories our skaters continue to bring each week both on and off the ice. 💕

Congratulations to Cate, who captured the bronze medal in Pre-Novice Women Group 1 at the Skate Ontario Sectional Series August competition! ⛸️
Cate has been training singles with us at SCBC this summer (along with her ice dance) and we have loved having her as part of our freeskate training environment and watching her hard work pay off!
We are so excited to see what the future holds for this talented athlete as she continues to shine in both her singles and ice dance careers! 👏
