Tora Judo

Over the weekend, Judo Ontario hosted a Girls Camp for women in judo at the Mississauga Judo Club SBK Tora had 4 participants and 2 adults come. Sensei Heather is missing from our photos, but she was there with us on Friday.

Last class before the summer season, we had some new belt gradings including 2 of our adult lady judoka.

These two ladies started judo only a few months ago and at an older age. They have both been working hard and learning from the beginning in a sport that typically is learned at a younger age. These two ladies prove that you can start judo at any age. If you're thinking about it...just do it.

Over the weekend, we had 15 competitors go to the Peterborough Hatash*ta Judo tournament. Tora came home with 17 medals! Here are some of the highlights! Congratulations to all the competitors! Until the next one!

It's never too late to post about Father's Day! Thank you to all the judo dads for bringing your children to judo, and also participating.

Over the last week, we had quite a few judoka get their belts upgraded. Congratulations to all the judoka on their next step towards getting your blackbelts!
