Back to school. Back to the mats. 🥋
A new school year brings new challenges, new routines, and new opportunities to grow.
Jiu Jitsu gives kids a place to learn how to stay calm under pressure, solve problems, handle frustration, work with others, build confidence, and keep going when things get hard.
The lessons we learn on the mats don’t stay on the mats. They show up at school, at home, with friends, and throughout life.
The goal isn’t just to make better Jiu Jitsu practitioners.
It’s to help kids become better, stronger, more capable people.
School. Jiu Jitsu. Life.
Back to work.
Forever Grappling. 🥋

The whole team up. 🦾
As always, I’m proud of this small team with big effort. Every one of them worked hard, faced challenges head-on, and still made it a fun experience.

To the rest of the team—no podium this time, but every match was fought with heart. You’re right there. We learn, we grow, and we come back stronger and smarter next time.
Forever proud. Forever grappling. 🥋💙

Last night we promoted three students, Fred, Nat and Justin.
One in his late 20s, one in his mid-50s, and one in his late-60s.
Different ages. Different paths. Different stories.
But sharing the same mats and making the same decision to keep showing up.
That’s what forever grappling really means to me.
It’s not about being the youngest or the most athletic.
It’s about committing to the work, staying humble, and not quitting when things get hard.
Proud of all three of you.
This journey doesn’t end — we just keep learning and moving forward together.
