The Toronto Flyers are proud to welcome Jared Lockhurst, Founder & Head Instructor of Blue Ice Goaltending, as our Goaltending Coach for the 2026/2027 Season.
Jared brings a strong playing background …
from Junior A with the Brampton Capitals and Wellington Dukes to NCAA hockey at Brockport, along with a proven track record of developing goaltenders at a high level.
🥅 Fun Fact:
Jared was named Toronto Star High School Goalie of the Year, earned SUNYAC All-Rookie Team honours, and won the International Quebec Peewee Tournament.
Jared will lead:
• Summer Goalie Development Program (watch for dates)
• Goalie Prospect Camp (details coming soon)
• Full season development for all Toronto Flyers goalies
This is a big addition to our staff and a major step forward in our commitment to elite goalie development.
