This past Monday our Club President was able to share with the Rotary Club Of Brampton what brampton_ontario_speed_skaters offers their skaters and how we are working to grow the club! We are thankful for their financial support in making Speed Skating accessible for kids in our community!

Dryland Training is STARTING Wednesday July 8th @ 7pm! Join Coach Larry at Chinguacousy Park weekly to focus on Speed Skating style training to get ready for the upcoming season!

Arrive 10mins early, park near the running track off Bramalea Road. Meet at the small hill (beside the volleyball courts) for an hour to an hour & a half of training!

Thank you for inviting us to your 5K and 10K Speed Skating Challenge! We had compete in both distances and they had a great time!

Great way to end the season, pushing your limits with speed skaters from other clubs!

Tonight we hosted a recognition event, to thank the for a $12,500 Resilient Communities grant. We were fortunate that MPP Minister Williams was able to be present and speak at the event!

The grant helped the club expand our Spotlight program - extending the Learn to Speed Skate program to 32 girls that identified as low income, BIPOC or 2SLGBTQIA+.

We appreciate the opportunity this grant gave us and enjoy seeing many of these girls still skating with us.
