Well, where to start?

2 weekends ago, Greg Duncan Jr pulled the #90 cobalt out of the field and did some cosmetic work while figuring out what was needed mechanically for the weekends upcoming race.

Couldn't get the car running at home by the Friday but, decided to load it up anyway and get it to the track to work on it some more. Unfortunately it decided to terentially rain that saturday morning forcing the cancelation of the races.

Woke up sunday morning and got to work on the car. Found the motor was seized in 2 cylinders from winter storage. Pulled the plugs with Lyle Lorenz and Dakota and got to work freeing up the motor.

Paul Trepanier and Tim Tolton happened to see us and offered assistance with the side by side to help get the car running. And certainly we did with a whole lot of patience and problem solving. We managed to get it up and running to find out the alternator was also seized. Was still a success so we got to work buttoning up alot of the final touches before leaving for home.

Come back the following weekend and find that there's no more water in the reservoir. I over looked a clamp that wasn't seated properly on one of the hoses. Filled it up again Friday night and drove it down to the trailer for some final paint work before Saturday. Wake up in the morning to find no water again. Started checking oil, bottle for cracks. Ended up finding a cracked water pump housing. It was early in the morning and asked a really great friend if they could grab some jb weld while they were still in town. Thankfully they did because we waited until after the drivers meeting to put water in it. Lined up, got the push start and off we were. Feature 1 time. I made a really rookie mistake and didn't double check tire pressures and had a wrong pressure in the right rear causing it to de bead early on in the first feature.

After the first feature finished, quickly got to work changing a tire over and prepped the car for feature 2. Chose to start scratch for the night because I didnt have a chance to get any practice unfortunately. Ended up having some great battles throughout the second feature and ended up finishing with a p4.

Very thankful to all the competitors and fans at Full throttle speedway at varney as well as the officials and sponsors who make our race nights possible. Hope to see alot of support out at the track for the fallout 50 coming up this weekend.

What a rollercoaster last weekend was for the team from wrecks to rolls. Beyond thankful for the equipment being strong and keeping drivers safe. Special thanks goes out to Nathan Crawford Lynn Flood for the opportunity to run Oh Cana Duh this season. It means alot to all of us and we look forward to the years ahead together
