Congratulations to all the winners in the Open Pairs Tournamnent held at the Trenton Lawn Bowling Club on August 31. We are proud of our BLBC winners! Well done!

Pat Rawluk, Heather Comba and Glenda Courtice (Belleville Lawn Bowling Club) , Ontario B Silver Winners at the Bowl CANADA Boulingrin Seniors Triples which was held in Windsor. Way to go ladies!

The Mens District 15 Novice Singles Tournament was held at BLBC on August 29th & 30th. A little bit of drizzling rain could not deter the competitors from great bowling & high spirits! Congratulations to: Paul Wardhaugh (BLBC) won 1rst place. Jim Baggs (Kingston Lawn Bowling Club) placed 2nd. Both men will compete in the Provincial Novice Singles Tournament which will be held at Belleville Lawn Bowling Club on Sept. 19th & 20th. Scott Bell (Kingston Lawn Bowling Club) placed 3rd. OJ Kerr (BLBC) placed 4th and Mike McGuire (Trenton Lawn Bowling Club) placed 5th. This event provided the spectators with plenty of exciting ends with spectacular shots!!!

Congratulations to District 15 Novice Singles Tournament Winner Elise Kerr (BLBC), winning all her games and Second Place Winner, Kim Bonisteel (BLBC). Both will compete in the Provincial Novice Singles Tournament which will be held in Belleville on Sept. 19th & 20th.

Belleville Lawn Bowling Club would like to thank Brian & Jackie Bedard (previous, long-time members of BLBC) for donating sets of bowls to our club. Jackie was a constant partner with Iris Sager, and together they were champions at all levels, including Nationals.

Congratulations to all winners in the Ronald McDonald Memorial Open Pairs Tournament held at Trenton Lawn Bowling Club on Aug. 26/26. Our BLBC players played well. It is great to see clubs within the district participating together. (Thanks Dar for the photos.)
