Last night, we said goodbye, for now, to Cassie as she prepares to move back to the GTA.
Cassie came to Alcateia with some previous Jiu Jitsu experience, and we’re grateful that she chose to continue her journey with us. She has been a valued part of our team, and we wish her every success and happiness in whatever comes next. We sincerely hope she keeps training wherever life takes her, and that one day, we’ll have the opportunity to welcome her back.
We’re especially proud of the strong women who train at Alcateia. Although Jiu Jitsu remains a very male dominated sport, it’s important to empower our female athletes and create a more balanced environment. The friendship and support they give one another creates something truly special within our club. They train hard, make one another better and stick together, both on and off the mats.
Good luck, Cassie. You’ll always have friends and a place to train here. 🐺🥋
