Monday- Fitness with Scott Gouthro at 212 High Performance Training at 2pm!
Tuesday - practice at 4:30pm
Wednesday - Practice at 6:50am -> fitness at 212 HPT at 3:15pm!
Thursday - Practice at 4:30pm

Tuesday and Thursday -> certain players will be working with Medical Trainer Austin Paul Chapman for some concussion baseline screening thanks to HEADCHECK Health!

For any parents/ guardians out there looking for some concussion education our Medical Trainer/ Administrator Austin Paul Chapman is offering a concussion education session with Steylen Athletic Wellness!

We are excited to officially offer our FIRST concussion education session with RN & Medical Trainer Austin Paul Chapman!

Using the HEADCHECK Health Platform, we are now able to offer concussion education, baseline screening, return to play protocols and team packages!

WHEN? Friday September 18th 7:30-8:15pm
WHERE? At Steylen athletic wellness, 440 George Street
FOR WHO? All parents and coaches of athletes ages 10 and up! We highly encourage you to come out and learn about the importance of concussion management and how return to play assessment and protocol can keep your child safe!

This session will be offered at only $10 per person, we ask that you pre-register by sending an email to [email protected] OR reach out to Steylen Athletic Wellness on Facebook or Instagram!

And that concludes our ID Camp & PreSeason!

Here is our lineup for tomorrow’s Exhibition Game against the Weeks U18 Major at the Pictou County Wellness Centre!

We ask all players to try and arrive an hour and a half before game time (~10:30am) and arrive prepared for the game!

*Safe travels tomorrow to all players, staff and Rush family!*

We are ready for some more exciting Preseason action!

Our ID Camp Schedule for this week!!

Tomorrow and Wednesday we have an on ice session at 3:30pm at Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre followed by Baseline Concussion Screening thanks to HEADCHECK Health with our medical trainer Austin for certain players-> see the posted schedule in the 2nd graphic for your assigned date and time!

*if for any reason you are unable to make your assigned time reach out to Austin by text or email at [email protected] or DM our social accounts ASAP so things can be rearranged! -> concussion screening is mandatory!*

We then close out our ID camp with a preseason exhibition game against the Weeks on Saturday at 12pm at the PCWC!
