Last week at the BAMSE Cup BBYC took home lots of hardware! Great showing from all the sailors, we always look forward to this event!

BBYC Learn to Sail is off to a great start!
We kicked off the season nearly full, and the kids are having a blast while learning and leveling up their sailing skills.

Our race teams have already competed in 3 regattas—ARK, Baywind, and No Tears—and our program is growing fast! We now include ILCA 4 & 6, Club 420, Opti, and Wetfeet. Big shoutout to our hardworking coaches and sailors!

We’re collecting refundable recycling at the club! Drop off your cans and bottles in the blue bins by the Learn to Sail office and school buildings. Every can helps support these awesome young sailors! 💙⛵

We’re just a few days away from summer sailing starting! Our coaches have been working hard and are so excited to kick off the summer. Limited spots are still available, so don’t miss out.

New Adaptive Sailing Sessions Launching at BBYC

Bedford Basin Yacht Club is excited to launch a program for individuals with mobility challenges. This inclusive program is designed to provide safe, supported access to the water, whether you’re new to sailing or returning after time away.

Sessions will run from July 21 to August 8, with 1.5-hour sails aboard the Martin 16 - a stable, accessible keelboat that’s ideal for building confidence and independence on the water.

This year, we're kicking things off with a Learn to Sail Celebration and Fundraiser—a night to launch the season, celebrate our successes, and raise money for a new coach boat to keep our newly revamped race team safe and competitive.

Join us Friday, June 20. Doors open at 5:00 PM.
