Congratulations to Audrey Wang for winning a U17 women's doubles silver medal for the Canadian Junior National Team at the recently concluded Pan American Badminton Championships! This is also her first medal in an international competition!

Audrey started learning badminton at JBTC from 2019. Over the years, through her passion for the sport and relentless training, she has steadily climbed the ranks, winning the Nova Scotia Provincial Championship, then the Atlantic Provincial Championship, then the Canadian National Championship, and now representing the Canadian junior national team on the international stage, adding another brilliant chapter to her athletic career!

In 2025 YONEX Saskatchewan Junior Elite that ended today, Zhiqing (Audrey) Wang reached the finals in all three events and finally won the Gold of U17 GS🥇, the Gold of U19 GD🥇, and also the Silver of U17 XD🥈.

Congratulations to Audrey for making a milestone this time and winning the national champion of singles as she always expected! 🎉🎉🎉

A very memorable week, three of our players (Ritu Shah, Cinra Mei, and Sherlyn Mei) were selected for Canada National Team, wearing the national team jersey and winning honors for Canada in different international competitions at the same time.

Ritu Shah is participating in the 2025 FISU World University Championships in Germany. Good luck to Ritu!

Cinra Mei and Sherlyn Mei just finished their competitions at the 2025 Pan American Junior Badminton Championships in Guatemala.
Cinra won a bronze medal🥉 for Canada in the U17 Women’s Singles .m, while Sherlyn(Cinra's younger sister) also won a silver medal🥈 for Canada in the U13 Women’s Doubles.
