These boys have grown into men, learning responsibility, discipline, teamwork, and resilience on the ice. Every early morning, every road trip, every win and loss has shaped them into the incredible humans they are today.

Let’s fill the stands tonight at Ken Nichol Recreation Centre Arena 1 and bring the energy as BAC — the Beaumont Athletic Club — faces off against Camrose at 4:15 PM.

Let’s pack the stands at Ken Nichol 1 tonight at 8:15pm and bring the noise as we celebrate our U18 graduates.
This weekend marks their final minor hockey regular-season games, and we want to send them off in true BAC style.

Kayden had a later start to hockey, not lacing up his first pair of skates until his second year of U9 with Devon Minor Hockey. He began as a forward and even stepped into the crease as a goalie for a few games. It didn’t take long, though, for him to discover that his size, strength, and natural presence on the ice were best suited for the blue line.

He continued to develop his game with two seasons in the Hockey Super League (HSL) before finding his home in Beaumont Minor Hockey, where he has proudly played AA since U15. From the moment he started, Kayden has been passionate about hockey—never afraid to put in the work and always taking pride in being the guardian of the team. He has a huge heart, looks out for all his buddies, and is the kind of teammate every player wants beside them.

Watching Kayden grow over the years has truly been a privilege. We are incredibly proud of the young man he has become. As he steps into life after graduation, he’ll be learning a wide range of hands-on skills—from electrical to welding, and even driving farm equipment—building a strong foundation for his future.

To all the graduates, we wish you a long, happy, and healthy life ahead.

Hudson started his initiation hockey in Beaumont, always ready to go for early morning practices. In his first few seasons we joked that hockey needed a rover position as he usually played halfway between defense and forward. He eventually settled in as a defensemen and has always took pride in lacing up for his hometown teams. Throughout all years of minor hockey he demonstrated the highest level of sportsmanship. His sportsmanlike play allows him to avoid the penalty box despite being a steady defender for his team. We are so proud of Hudson!
