Steve Gleason will receive the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at this year’s @espys.

A record deal: the Vikings and three-time Pro-Bowl WR Justin Jefferson reached agreement on a four-year, $140 million contract extension that includes $110 million guaranteed and makes him not only the highest-paid WR in NFL history, but the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.

Jefferson’s deal includes $88.743 million due at signing, the highest non-QB guarantee at signing in NFL history. And it resets the WR market.

WME Football negotiated and confirmed the deal.

David Johnson, who amassed 6,876 yards from scrimmage and 58 touchdowns in eight seasons, announced his retirement from the NFL on Sunday. Johnson, who last played in a regular-season game in 2022, for the New Orleans Saints, made the announcement on Instagram. "I'm looking forward to my next career path in life," he wrote in his post. "I don't know exactly what that will be, but I hope it will bring me the same passion, excitement, and love as football did!"
