Homestead may be the “most walkable” of Westview’s three nines, but get ready for a tough par 4 when you arrive at hole number 9. The green slopes sharply from right to left, so the smart play is to stay below the hole.

Westview’s annual aeration of the greens is officially complete! 🕳️⛳️
This necessary work helps reduce compaction, improve drainage and allow for better air flow, which leads to firmer, healthier turf. All three of Westview’s Nines have now been aerated and surfaces will be fully recovered over the next few days. Golfers should expect to see traces of sand-filled holes as the greens return to full strength 💪

⛳️Westview’s Homestead Nine is home to our signature hole, with Pop Nisbet’s oak tree guarding the centre left of the fairway on hole number five. Accuracy off the tee is essential - a drive favouring the left side will open up the best angle into a wide, undulating green. This classic hole rewards precision and positioning.

Good signs point the way…great signs tell a bigger story ⛳️🪧🌱
Our new directional signage and fencing were made by our very own Maintenance Crew using reclaimed wood from Westview trees, giving existing materials a second life instead of sending them to waste. It’s a small change that reflects a big commitment to environmental stewardship - one of the core values of the Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf.
Sustainability isn’t just about protecting wildlife and natural habitats. It’s also about making thoughtful choices every day that reduce waste, conserve resources and help keep our course beautiful for generations to come.

There is something pretty special about Spring mornings at Westview ☀️
It is great to see some sun in the forecast, and we’re so excited to be welcoming our golfers back after a long winter! A few reminders as the season gets into “full swing”:
⛳️Tee times are available to book up to 14 days in advance, online at Westviewgolf.ca or by calling the Pro Shop at 905-727-0446. If you need to make a change to your booking, we ask for 24 hours notice to avoid cancellation penalties.
🏌️♂️Our driving range is reserved for golfers who have a tee time or lesson on the same day. We also have putting and chipping greens available for practice!
🍔The Westview Clubhouse is open at 9am daily. The kitchen stays open late Monday-Thursday, but closes at 5pm Friday-Sunday, so please plan accordingly if you are planning to stay for a meal after your round!
