Huge thanks to everyone who came out to make our Open House, registration, and the Goldline pop-up shop such a fantastic event!

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout, and a warm welcome to all our new and returning members joining us on the sheets this season.

We also want to send a special shout-out to our volunteers who manned our registration table, the bar, greeted those who came in, and to those who helped set up and organize our event — you truly are the heartbeat of our club, and we simply couldn't do it without your incredible dedication.

Learn to Curl This Season at Arnprior Curling Club! 🥌

Interested in curling, but don’t know where to start? We’ve got you covered with programs tailored for both brand-new curlers and youth looking to build their skills in a fun, welcoming environment.

ADULT LEARN TO CURL

Designed for beginners or anyone looking to brush up on their fundamentals before jumping into regular league play.

When: First week of November through the last week of December 2026

Cost: $200

Bonus: Includes 2 grippers provided directly by the club!

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Our youth streams focus on skill development, game strategy, and lots of fun on the ice!

Little Rocks (Ages 7–11)

Perfect for younger players learning balance, sliding, and delivery with lighter stones.

Focuses on fun drills, teamwork, and basic game etiquette.

Junior / Bantam (Ages 12–18)

Tailored for older youth and teens, whether totally new to the sport or developing competitive strategy.

Covers slide technique, sweeping efficiency, shot calling, and scrimmage play.

What to Bring:

Clean, indoor running shoes with non-marking rubber soles (no outdoor dirt on the ice!)

Warm, flexible clothing layered for easy movement

Certified helmets/head protection are mandatory for all youth curlers

🎯 Preseason Skipping Clinic (NEW!)

Level up your strategy, ice calls, and overall game before regular play begins. This clinic isn't just for skips — any curler looking to boost their game strategy and team dynamics will get huge value out of it!

**When:** Wednesdays, Sept 9 – Oct 7 (5 weeks)
Sessions:
**6:30 PM** – Women’s Only Session
**8:15 PM** – Open Session (All Welcome)

**Cost:** $100 + HST
**Member Priority:** Spots are reserved exclusively for Arnprior Curling Club members until August 8th**, after which remaining spots open to non-members.

🏓 TRY PICKLEBALL NIGHT! 🏓

Ever wondered what all the hype is about? Want to try the fastest-growing sport in the world but don’t know where to start? This is your sign!

We are hosting a **"Try Pickleball" Night** next week, designed specifically for absolute beginners. No pressure, no judgment—just a fun, comfortable, and relaxed environment to learn the basics and hit some balls.

📅 The Details:
When: Wednesday, June 10th
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Cost: Just $4 + tax (standard drop-in fee!)
Who: Anyone who has *never* played before but wants to give it a shot!

⚠️ Spot Are Limited!
To make sure everyone gets plenty of court time and attention, we are capping this event at **16 players**.

It is first-come, first-served, so don't wait!

Get your paddles ready! Drop-in pickleball at the ACC starts THIS WEEK!

We have open play times for everyone, but remember—space is limited to 22 players per session, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Come early!

Tuesdays: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
