🚨 Air Quality Update – Thursday, July 16 🚨

Due to poor air quality, all soccer games and practices are cancelled today.

The Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) has reached 10+ and is expected to remain at that level throughout the day. As a result, all outdoor activities across Elgin Middlesex District Soccer League have been cancelled.

The health and safety of our players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families remains our top priority.

Our U12 Tier 1 and U12 Tier 3 Girls teams were both successful in winning the EMDSL District Cup yesterday, in St Thomas! Both teams battled to bring home the big trophy. What an accomplishment for this age group! Congratulations to both teams! You made Taxandria proud!

⚽ What a day for our Taxandria U13 Boys Tier 1! 🥈

This Saturday, our U13 Boys Tier 1 team travelled to Grimsby to compete in the annual Grimsby Gateway Invitational—and what a tournament they had!

The boys made our club incredibly proud with their tireless work ethic, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship. They battled their way through the qualifying round with three impressive victories, earning a well-deserved spot in the championship match.

In a thrilling final, they were narrowly defeated 3-2 by the Scarborough Olympic Flames from the IModel League. While the result didn't go our way, the effort, teamwork, and heart these boys displayed were nothing short of championship calibre. They should be proud to wear their silver medals!

One of the highlights of the day? Everywhere they went, people were asking, "Where is Taxandria?" By the end of the tournament, everyone knew! These boys turned heads with their skill and determination and truly put Taxandria on the map.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on an incredible tournament. We couldn't be prouder of the way you represented our club—on and off the field. 💛🖤⚽

Our U12 Tier 1 Girls shut down and defeated the top academy center in the league last night! These girls played with passion, skill, confidence and the utmost sportsmanship in a tough game! Well done, ladies.
