WOW! 🤯⛳ To say we're blown away would be an understatement. After 26 years, this incredible community continues to amaze us. The support, generosity, and enthusiasm shown at this year's Nancy Hak & Katie Elliott Memorial Golf Tournament was nothing short of incredible. For those who weren't with us on tournament day, we also shared some exciting news about the future of the tournament.

Steve MacKenzie started this tournament to honour the memories of his sister, Nancy, and his niece, Katie. What began as a fun little golf tournament has grown into something far bigger than anyone could have imagined.

As the event grew, so did the need for support. Steve, Rich, Donna, and Marlene — our "Core 4" and original committee members — have poured countless hours, energy, and heart into building this tournament into the amazing event it is today. Their dedication over the past 25 years has created a legacy that continues to bring people together while making a meaningful impact in our community.

After 25 years of leadership, they're passing the torch to the next generation of family members, allowing them to step into larger roles and continue growing this incredible event.

But don't worry — the Core 4 aren't going anywhere! 😉

We're thrilled to announce that Steve MacKenzie will now serve as Past President and Rich Elliott as Past Vice-President. While their titles may be changing, they'll continue to be a huge part of the tournament. Let's be honest — we still need them! Whether it's sharing their knowledge, lending a hand behind the scenes, or finding a place to store all those gifts and prizes, they're not getting off that easy. 😆

A few friendly reminders before the big day:
🕛 Registration begins at 12:00 PM
🏌️ Shotgun Start at 1:00 PM

💰 If you haven't sent your e-transfer yet, please do so as soon as possible. E-transfers can be sent too: [email protected]. We'll also be accepting cash payments on tournament day.

🎯 Don't forget to bring some cash/change! We'll have several fun cash games happening throughout the day, giving you even more chances to win and enjoy the event.

🚗 Planning your arrival? Please remember that the Arkona 150 Celebration Parade begins at 1:00 PM, so allow yourself a little extra travel time and plan your route accordingly.
