Rise Up Performance Horses

First foal born at Rise Up Performance Horses just over a week ago!
I just can't get over this experience.. I prayed over Cayenne and the foal alot these last few months that they both were healthy and alive as I was so stressed breeding my best horse but I knew I needed a baby out of her. I also asked that I would be there when she had it.
Well I woke up from a dead sleep the monday morning at 3:10am and it wasn't my alarm.. I checked the camera to see Cayenne go down and I ran outside in my PJs to see him halfway out. I got there in time to pull part of the sac off his nose and to pull him the rest of the way out then next to momma. He stood within 10 minutes and Cay was being a rockstar, I was afraid she might have a tough time adjusting being the age she is but she stepped up. ♥️. This little guy is sweet and spicy just like momma.

And the 2026 calving season comes to an end here at Rise Up! I love my cows! We're taking a little break and in about a month or so we get ready for foaling 🥰. Cayenne is at 286 days today and Raven is at 262 days.

Just got home from spending the winter in California with a trainer where he got brought back into work after having kissing spine surgery and rehab.
He was rode in and out of the arena and is very smooth. Tracked cattle and had a rope swung off him. He has worked the flag, been around cows his whole life. I used him to bring in some cows, then rode him through the herd and split off a couple cows. Very brave and not afraid of much. Loads and hauls great alone. Easy to tie and trim. Ground drove.
Has been regularly vet checked, up to date on 💉 and teeth.

He's used to tractors, quads, heavy equipment, kids, dogs, gunshots. Fine being led behind the quad.
He does need a longer warm up in the cooler weather. l would love to see him go south and become a ranch and or team/break away roping horse. He is NOT a kids horse as he is big and strong and has a big stride. He's best suited for someone confident that needs a horse to go do a job. He loves cow work.

Reason for selling..I am a mom of 2 and I don't have the ability to keep him busy. I also think he would be best suited for a roping/ranching home as we do not click and I already have many that are more my style.

He is so pretty and turns heads everywhere he goes.

My favorite time of year has started 🥰
First one was last Sunday night, nice black bull. This morning we had a cute black and white heifer. Arlo named the heifer Jazz.
