The Sr. Bulldogs are happy to announce that defenseman Lee Davidson has signed for 2026-27. A rugged, stay-at-home D with high-level experience, he's sure to make a big impact this year.
GM Matthew Ryder: "Lee is a big, strong, difficult guy to play against. We were very excited to hear he was available and interested in joining the Bulldogs. He's a perfect fit for our blueline and he'll give us good, hard minutes."

Some veteran grit returns for 2026-27: Marc Fougere is back with the Dogs! A stout presence on D, Fouge is at his best when the lights shine brightest, and he'll do it again this season in Antigonish.
GM Matthew Ryder: "Fouge is a great piece for us, really stabilizes our depth. Gives you a bit of everything back there and really digs in as the games get tougher. Happy he's back."

The Antigonish Sr. Bulldogs will offer four open skates this season, two in Halifax and two in Antigonish.
Players born 2005 or earlier who are interested in coming out should DM or email [email protected]. Limited spots are available.
One of last year's top Dogs is back for another go! Sniper Nick Mahar was lethal in 2025-26 and he'll look to build on it for the upcoming campaign.
GM Matthew Ryder: "One of the best Jr A guys you'd ever come across, so we knew his game would translate. Hat trick in his first game and never looked back. With a year under his belt he'll take another step, and that could be something to see."
The Bulldogs crease stays deep, as Bryson Uberoi will return for 2026-27. 4-0 with a .903 SV% last year, he showed up big in his first season.
GM Matthew Ryder: "Ubi is extremely underrated in our league. Good size, good positional game, good athleticism. Fights to see pucks and is really tough when he's locked in. Great to bring him back."
The man they call RK returns to the Sr. Dogs in 2026-27! The hardworking Swiss Army knife brings his hard hat every game, crashing and banging and providing bite down the lineup.
GM Matthew Ryder: "RK is a warrior out there. Moves well, smart, deceptively physical. He'll do anything for that Bulldog on his chest, we're lucky to have him."
Will Kelly is back in 2026-27! No stranger to Antigonish, the former Jr. Bulldog made a name for himself at the Senior level last year with a blend of size, speed, skill and smarts.
GM Matthew Ryder: "We felt good about what Will would do when we signed him, and once he locked in he gave us everything and more. He can do it all up front. Would be a guy I'd look at to take another big jump this year."
