We want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us at our events, brought their families and friends, and helped spread the word by sharing our posts!

This summer, we hosted 6 free events with different themes, interests, and locations throughout Amherst. There was something for everyone, and everyone was welcome to come out and enjoy!

We had an absolute blast spending our summer with you, and we hope Summer Thursdays brought a little more fun, connection, and memories to your summer.

This new playground will feature accessible play structures and pathways, inclusive swings, sensory play elements, climbing and sliding features, areas for younger children, accessible surfacing, seating, shade, landscaping and more!

Join us on September 19th for Welcoming Week 2026. Our welcoming week event is a time for people to come together to learn and connect with the various cultures in our community!
Join us for live performances, vendors and food from 2-7 p.m. at the Travelodge Amherst and Wandlyn Conference Centre.

ITS TIME!!

Join us as we kick off the end of the summer season with LIVE MUSIC from Second Toe, LIVE ROAMING PERFORMANCES from the Halifax Circus, a FREE BBQ, Golden Chill Ice Cream!!

We will have a free BBQ while supplies lasts and a one time live fire show around 8:00 p.m. on Victoria Street, Amherst NS

Make sure to bring your passport for a chance to will 500$ !

All happening in downtown Amherst Victoria Sqaure, from 6pm - 9pm!
