🎾 REMINDER: The Almonte tennis court rehabilitation project starts today and the courts will be closed for the remainder of the season.

Starting Monday, August 31, rehabilitation work will begin at the courts in Gemmill Park to create an improved playing experience for the community.

The project will include:
✔️ New paving
✔️ New court surfacing
✔️ Upgraded lighting
✔️ Electrical improvements

To complete this work safely, the courts will be closed for the remainder of the season beginning August 31.

Thanks to the continued partnership between the Municipality and the Almonte Tennis Club, these upgrades will help ensure the courts remain a great place to play for years to come.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back to the renewed facility in 2027!

FYI no lights tonight and tomorrow night! Power back on Wednesday morning

❗REMINDER: Power outage in Gemmill Park tomorrow and Tuesday!

The Municipality is completing upgrades to the electrical panel at the bottom of the park (bowl area).

To do this work, the power will be turned off at the Gemmill Park splash pad, tennis courts and basketball courts on June 16-17, 2025.

Power will be restored on Wednesday morning, June 18.

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills is excited to launch a youth summer sports camp! The camp is geared to campers born from 2013-2016 (ages 9-12) with a focus on fun and recreation. All we ask is that campers arrive with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and participate!

Camp dates:
