AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Gord Dickson
Road Cyclist • Coffee Ride Connoisseur • Community Builder
Gord discovered cycling after stepping away from competitive soccer and looking for a new challenge. What began with a borrowed bike and a century ride alongside his father quickly became a lifelong passion. Today, he is known as a strong and dedicated rider who values the friendships, experiences, and opportunities that cycling continues to create.
Why He Rides:
For Gord, cycling is the perfect blend of athletic challenge and technical precision. He appreciates the efficiency and capability of a well designed bike, but it’s the sense of progression, exploration, and connection that keeps him coming back ride after ride.
Most Memorable Ride:
The ride that changed everything was his first century ride event with the “BC Randonneurs”. What started as a challenge from his father became the moment he realized he was completely hooked on cycling. Crossing the finish line opened the door to a new community, new adventures, and a passion that continues to shape his life today.
Favourite Route:
For Gord, the route is secondary to the company. Whether it’s local roads, mountain passes, or a weekend adventure, the best rides are the ones shared with good friends and finished with a great coffee.
Through cycling, Gord has found a community that continues to inspire, challenge, and support one another. We’re proud to have him representing Lifecycles and Specialized as an ambassador.

Osvaldo “Oz” Codoceo
Mountain Biker • Road Cyclist • RMT
Known to most simply as Oz, Osvaldo discovered mountain biking in his mid twenties after transitioning away from rugby. What began as a new recreational outlet quickly evolved into a passion for every corner of the cycling world, from mountain biking and gravel riding to long days on the road.
Away from the bike, Oz has spent 13 years as a Registered Massage Therapist. After five years teaching at West Coast College, he now practices full time with Performance Health Group in Murrayville, working with everyone from individuals recovering from injuries and chronic pain to high-performance athletes striving to perform at their best. His professional focus on movement, recovery, and helping people return to the activities they love mirrors the same values that keep him connected to cycling and the local community.
Why He Rides:
For Oz, cycling delivers far more than physical fitness. It supports his mental well being, provides an opportunity to spend time outdoors, and connects him with a community that continually encourages and inspires one another.

Oz is grateful to be part of a cycling community that spans every discipline, from the volunteers who build and maintain local trails to the riders who continually challenge and support one another. Whether helping patients return to an active lifestyle or sharing miles with friends on local roads and trails, he believes the strongest communities are built through movement, connection, and a shared passion for the outdoors.

AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Roy Miller
Mountain Biker • Trail Builder • Community Steward
For more than three decades, Roy has been a fixture in Abbotsford’s mountain biking community. A dedicated rider since the mid 1990s, his impact extends far beyond the trails he rides. Following his retirement in 2015, Roy devoted countless hours to trail building and maintenance at Ledgeview, helping preserve and improve the riding experience for the local community.
In 2020, alongside Gary Harder, Gary Weber, and many other volunteers, Roy helped lead the effort to reclaim and restore Soft Taco. Together, the group contributed approximately 700 volunteer hours to bringing the trail back to life. When organized rides disappeared during the pandemic, he created Soft Taco Tuesday - a weekly ride that brought riders together, introducing new faces to the trails, and kept the local riding community connected during a challenging time.
Why He Rides:
For Roy, mountain biking is about fun, community, and adventure. Whether he’s maintaining trails, leading rides, or exploring new routes, cycling provides a way to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy the outdoors. It also pairs perfectly with his other passion: skiing.
Most Memorable Ride:
Riding the Five Peaks of Abbotsford with his daughter Selina stands out as one of Roy’s favourite cycling memories. The route linked Ledgeview, Noodley Appendage, Sumas, Harder Way, Salty Nozzle, and Long Way Home into one massive day on the bike. An accomplishment made even more meaningful by sharing it with family.
Favourite Route:
Roy’s go to route starts with the climb to the top of Ledgeview before dropping into Noodley Appendage and finishing on Soft Taco. As part of the volunteer team that helped bring the trail back to life, he has a unique connection to every corner of it.
Roy’s dedication to trail stewardship, community building, and mountain biking has helped shape the riding culture of Abbotsford. His contributions continue to leave a lasting impact on the trails and riders who call Ledgeview home.
