Today marks the launch of the 2026 Pulling Together Canoe Journey. Over the next five days, participants will travel the traditional waterways connecting First Nations communities throughout the region, camping along the way and sharing in culture, learning, and community.

This journey supports ongoing reconciliation efforts and fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indigenous cultures, histories, and traditions.

We wish all participants a safe and memorable journey.

Happy ! Today, we’re looking back through the Clipper Canoes archives to celebrate 50 years of hand-built craftsmanship, paddling adventures, and unforgettable moments on the water with some classic clipper footage from 1986 🙏🙏

From family trips and wilderness expeditions to first paddles and lifelong traditions, it’s been an incredible privilege to be part of so many journeys. This historic footage is a reminder of where we’ve come from... and of our paddling community that makes every moment on the water worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has paddled with us over the past five decades. Here’s to preserving the legacy, inspiring new adventures, and many more years to paddle our Clipper Canoes ❤️
