Update on little Kyro, some of our kids visited him today and he was so happy to see his teammates. He is doing better, is moving around in his wheelchair and in 6 weeks he removes the pins on his foot!! We wish him a speedy recovery and we will keep checking on him.

🏆 BELIZE BJJ CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 — WE SHOWED UP. 🏆

Don't Blink Jiu-Jitsu Academy took the mats at the Belize BJJ Championships and came home loaded with medals across both Gi and No-Gi divisions. We couldn't be more proud of every single athlete who stepped up and competed.

Kids Division
Brianna, Maliyah, Sician, Miah, Asher & Krissani — you all represented beautifully!

Teen Division
Jada, Shailey, Brea, Priya, Jair & KJ, Shane, Keon, Jason — the future is bright and you proved it today.

Teen Highlights
Jada went DOUBLE GOLD — winning both the Gi AND No-Gi Absolute divisions. An absolute standout performance. And Priya stepped UP to the yellow belt division and walked away with a No-Gi win. That's the Don't Blink way. 👁️

Adult Division
Yami & Helen brought home Gold from the Women's division. Jan held it down with the blue belts, and Oscar & Elias put in work in the Super Heavy category.

We had the pleasure of hosting a huge community open mat today!! Kids, teens, girls and adults all came together to get some training in for the upcoming Belize BJJ Championships
