Today, the big regional bodybuilding event will take place at Clock Tower Square, Thimphu from 2.30pm onwards and the show will continue tomorrow at the same time. Top athletes along with their delegates from South Asian countries have arrived here to participate in this prestigious bodybuilding championship. Defending champion Bubu Rai delivered an outstanding performance to win the prestigious Mr. Bhutan title at the 14th National Bodybuilding Championship held at Clock Tower Square. The championship showcased some of Bhutan's finest physiques and highlighted the growing standard of bodybuilding in the country.

Bubu has also represented Bhutan with distinction on the international stage, earning a silver meda🏅 at the World Championship and a gold 🏅 medal at the South Asian Bodybuilding Championship in the Athletic Physique category. His physique is admired for its symmetry, balance, and overall conditioning, with no noticeable lagging body parts for his height and weight.

At present, Bubu is preparing for the upcoming Mr. Bhutan and South Asian Bodybuilding Championships. Outside the sport, he works with the renowned Bhutanese five star brand hotel Zhiwaling Heritage Hotel where he receives constant support and encouragement to do well from his superiors and cowokers.
