The CAVA Beach Tour – Bhutan Open 2026 has been a journey of many moving parts, and the support from Olympic Solidarity has played an important role in helping us bring this event to life.

With athletes and teams travelling to Bhutan for three days of international competition, there is a great deal that happens behind the scenes before the first serve. Your support has helped us move those pieces forward and bring this opportunity to our athletes, our sporting community and our country.

🇧🇹 PLAYER PROFILE | JURME RANGDAL

Jurme Rangdal is a promising young Bhutanese volleyball athlete with experience in both indoor and beach volleyball. Born on 10 January 2007, he began his volleyball journey in 2016 and transitioned to beach volleyball in 2019.

Jurme has been a member of the U-23 National Team since 2024 and has represented Bhutan at several international competitions, including the Sanya Beach Games in China and the AVC Samila Open in Thailand. He has also competed extensively in national-level tournaments, earning notable achievements including tournament victories and MVP honours.

Known for his discipline, physical fitness, teamwork and determination, Jurme continues to develop as a competitive athlete and represents the growing strength of Bhutanese beach volleyball.

He will proudly represent Bhutan at the CAVA Beach Tour – Bhutan 2026, bringing his experience, ambition and competitive spirit to the court. 🏐🇧🇹
