Age, disability, or scars don’t make them any less deserving of love. If anything, they remind us just how deeply love, comfort, and compassion are needed. ❤️

Panda has now been rescued, and my heart is filled with gratitude. ❤️ Thank you my friend Tshering, for reaching out and letting me know about Panda. A heartfelt thank you to The Maya Foundation, for taking him in and giving him the treatment and care he so desperately needs. And thank you to Zeus Nakulu dog sanctuary Org. Paro for helping rescue him. Your kindness and compassion mean more than words can ever express. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. 🙏🐾🥹
Panda, one of the oldest free roaming dogs in Paro, is suffering from a terrible wound. When I received the video of him, I couldn’t hold back my tears. I could barely watch.
As I arrange for him to receive treatment, one thought keeps lingering in my heart.
What hurts me the most is knowing that Panda didn’t suffer because no one saw him. I am sure many people noticed his pain. What hurts is that no one acted.
Compassion doesn’t have to stop with our family, relatives, or those we know. It is also about noticing the suffering of a stranger, whether human or animal and choosing to care.
Sometimes, the smallest act can save a life. A phone call. A message. Offering food. Contacting someone who can help. We don’t always have to solve the problem ourselves, but we can choose not to look away.
May we all learn to see with kinder eyes and respond with gentler hearts. The world becomes a better place not through grand gestures, but through ordinary people choosing compassion over indifference.
Please, if you see an animal in distress, don’t assume someone else will help. You might be the only one who can. 🤍🐾
I come back to this, the rhythm of Sun Salutations, when my body calls for it.
Even in this simple practice there is always something new to learn as I continue to integrate the wisdom I receive through my yoga therapy training. ✨🤍
When a life is at risk, compassion should not have to wait. It is a basic human instinct to come together, to help and to protect a living being in distress.
While procedures and approvals are important, a situation involving a life in danger calls for urgency, cooperation, and immediate action from all concerned. A living being should not have to wait while decisions are being made.
I sincerely request the relevant authorities and all concerned organizations to come together and take urgent steps to rescue and protect this innocent elephant before it is too late.
Compassion, responsibility and timely action can make a difference. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

A beautiful teaching I heard from His Holiness the Je Khenpo: “We human beings often become so surprised when we find ourselves in situations that are unpleasant and not what we wished for. But what we forget to recognize is the seed we have planted ourselves. When we consciously plant a certain seed, knowing that it will one day bear a certain fruit, there is no reason to be surprised when that fruit appears. The results we experience are often the fruits of the causes we have created.”
This reminds me of the importance of intention. Just as every seed carries the potential of its fruit, every thought, action and aspiration carries its own energy.
As I offer this sound healing session, I hold the intention of planting seeds of healing, compassion, peace and wellbeing. May these vibrations and frequencies reach all beings who receive them and may they support healing in whatever way is needed. 🪷✨

The choices we make today become the seeds we plant. In time, we experience the fruits of what we nurture.

I am honored to share that I am now E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance.
“E-RYT 500 stands for Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500. It is a credential awarded by Yoga Alliance to yoga teachers who have not only completed advanced training but have also accumulated substantial teaching experience.
In practical terms, it signifies that a teacher has:
Completed 500 hours of recognized yoga teacher training (either through a 500-hour program or a 200-hour plus 300-hour pathway).
Logged extensive real-world teaching experience after certification. Current Yoga Alliance standards require significant documented teaching experience before a teacher can register as E-RYT 500.
Reached a level that qualifies them to mentor teachers and, in many cases, serve as a lead trainer in teacher training programs.
For those reviewing a yoga teacher’s credentials, E-RYT 500 is generally regarded as one of the more advanced and respected Yoga Alliance designations. It reflects not only extensive study but also years of dedicated teaching experience.”
Grateful for this journey, learning, teaching and serving.
With love and gratitude 🙏🏼✨🤍
