One of these things is not like the other... who can spot it ๐Ÿ˜…

Boy do we have some shoutouts to give today!

Yesterday, Chris and Christine headed out for Summit Motorsports Park for the first of two back-to-back race weekends. About 30 miles into the trip, one of the side compartments on the trailer came open. They got it secured and started back down the road, but only made it about a foot before hearing a loud clunk and feeling the truck shake. It quickly became apparent that something had failed in the rear axle.

Thankfully, we knew exactly who we could count on... the drag racing community... or better yet, our racing family.

A huge thank you to Bobby Ince Sr. and Bobby Ince Jr., who wasted no time coming to our rescue. They towed the truck and trailer back to their shop, got the truck in the air, and had the center section pulled out before we knew it. Their generosity didn't stop there โ€” they even loaned Chris and Christine a vehicle so they could get home and track down parts first thing the next morning.

Another huge thank you goes to John Semmens at Sadler Powertrain for having the parts we needed and helping get us back on the road. Chris picked up the parts and headed back to Ince Towing, where the truck was ready for its new center section.

Moments like this remind us how special this sport really is. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who stepped up to help. The racing community is unlike any other, and we truly couldn't keep doing this without all of you.

Thank you for getting Foster Racing back on the road and headed to Norwalk!

Nothing beats seeing our friends and customers putting products we trust to work!

A friend sent us this shot of one of our favorites, Maxima SC1 High Gloss Coating, helping keep their ride looking race-day ready from Funny Car Chaos this weekend. SC1 has been a staple in our trailer for years and is one of those products we always seem to reach for.

We keep many of our favorite Maxima Racing Oils products in stock, and if we don't have what you need on the shelf, we're always happy to place an order for you.

Need something from Maxima? Let us know and we'll get you taken care of!

National Donut Day? Like we need a reason for donuts. ๐Ÿฉ

School's out for summer, and Fridays away from the track mean shop days for the Foster Racing crew.

We're loading up and heading back to Cordova Dragway this weekend for the Triple 7's race and another weekend of Jr. Dragster action. Hudson is ready to get back after it, and we're looking forward to making some laps, making memories, and hopefully turning on a few win lights along the way.

See you at the track!

Shop Friday + race weekend loading ๐Ÿ

Spending this beautiful Friday in the shop with the races streaming live while Chris stays busy working on customer cars. Tomorrow, weโ€™re headed to Cordova Dragway for Hudsonโ€™s second points event of the year. He will race Saturday afternoon and Sunday they start early!

Shop days, race plans, and family time at the track โ€” hard to beat that. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐ŸŽ๏ธ

What a rollercoaster weekend for the Foster & Chamvless Family team at Route 66 Raceway.

Chris Foster put on a wild show in round one, carrying the wheels and getting just close enough to the wall to make everyone hold their breath. Unfortunately, the excitement came at a cost, as the car skated and gave away the starting line advantage, resulting in a tough first round loss to Bob McCosh.

Christine Foster was able to keep the weekend alive, picking up a first round win over Jesse Clark and turning her focus toward round 2 this morning at 9:30 AM against Annie Whiteley.

Heartbreak struck in round two for Christine and the entire team supporting her when she turned on the red light by just .010 seconds. Racing can be absolutely brutal sometimes, especially when the margins are that small.

None of this happens without the people and companies behind us. Huge thank you to HL Construction, Chambless Roofing, Hoosier Racing Tire, Maxima Racing Oils, and VP Racing Fuels for helping keep us on the track.

And an extra thank you to our hardworking and dedicated crew โ€” Jimmy Rector, Curtiss Chambless and Tracy Chambless โ€” along with our dedicated crew who put in countless hours to make this weekend possible.

Weโ€™ll regroup, learn from it, and get ready for the next one. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ

Mr. & Mrs. Foster just made SIDE-BY-SIDE identical passes in Q3 โ€” howโ€™s that for husband/wife teamwork?!

That pairs us up for Round 1:

Chris Foster vs. Bob McCosh
Christine Foster vs. Jesse Clark Racing

Weโ€™re thrashing hard to get both cars turned around and should be called to the lanes in the next 15 minutes or so.

Itโ€™s go time. Send all the good vibes! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Talk about hurry up & wait... ๐Ÿ˜…

If you've been waiting on an update and haven't seen anything yet, it's because we still haven't hit the track today.

The updated plan is for the Funny Cars to go on track around 5 PM, with a quick turnaround into Round 1 shortly after.

Trust us โ€” we're just as ready as all of you to finally fire these things up. Weโ€™ll keep everyone updated as soon as we know more! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ”ฅ

Qualifying hasnโ€™t gone how Chris or Christine wanted through Q1 & Q2 here at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago, but we still have faith in our teams, tuners, crew, and backers.

Now itโ€™s time for Q3 โ€” and this one is extra special: husband vs. wife, side by side. You wonโ€™t want to miss it!

Come say hi! Weโ€™re parked on the asphalt between the NHRA Tech Services black trailer and the NHRA Safety Safari trailer, east of the Pros and farther down track.

Letโ€™s go racing! ๐Ÿ
