Jordin Wilson is a Bahamian international forward currently competing at Elon University in NCAA Division I soccer. A dynamic attacking player, Wilson developed at the prestigious IMG Academy, where he finished as the academy’s top scorer and helped lead his teams to Sunshine Conference Academy and Elite 64 championships. In addition to his collegiate career, Wilson has competed in USL League Two with Albany Rush, continuing to gain valuable experience in one of North America’s top pre-professional leagues. His pace, intelligent movement, and eye for goal make him one of the country’s exciting young attacking talents as he continues his development on the international stage.

Meet the Coach: Christian Wheeler

Christian Wheeler is a UEFA-certified football coach and former professional footballer with an impressive international career spanning England, the United States, and Australia. During his playing career, he competed professionally in England, the USL in the United States, and Australia’s First Division, gaining valuable experience across a variety of footballing environments.

In addition to coaching, Christian is an experienced football scout, identifying emerging talent for clubs in England and across Europe. He serves as a non-league scout for West Ham United F.C. while also scouting players for clubs in Iceland and Scandinavia, giving him a unique perspective on the qualities required to progress to the professional game.

Christian’s coaching philosophy is built around developing technically proficient, tactically intelligent, and confident players who can thrive at the highest levels. By combining his professional playing background with his expertise in talent identification, he equips young footballers with the technical skills, football IQ, and mindset needed to unlock their potential and pursue opportunities both locally and internationally.

Bahamas GOAT Edition

Stephen Bellot is a former Bahamas Men’s National Team player and one of the key figures from the golden era of Cavalier FC, one of the most successful clubs in Bahamian football history. During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Stephen played an important role in Cavalier FC’s period of dominance, helping the club capture multiple league championships, national titles, and domestic cup competitions while establishing itself as one of the premier teams in the country.

At the international level, Stephen proudly represented the Bahamas Men’s National Team, competing against some of the region’s top players and nations. His experience at both the club and international levels gave him a deep understanding of the technical, tactical, and mental demands of high-performance football.

Following his playing career, Stephen continued to serve Bahamian football through coaching and player development. He has been involved with the Bahamas Senior Men’s National Team coaching staff and has also contributed to the Bahamas National Beach Soccer program, helping to prepare players for regional and international competition.

As a coach, Stephen is passionate about developing technically proficient, intelligent, and resilient footballers. He combines his extensive playing experience with a player-centered coaching philosophy that emphasizes discipline, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.

Stephen’s lifelong commitment to football continues to positively impact the next generation of Bahamian players, and we are excited to have him sharing his knowledge and experience with our FutPrep athletes.

Meet Coach Carl:

Carl Griffiths is a former English professional footballer from Hackney, London, who played as a striker. He began his career as a trainee at Millwall and went on to play in the Football League for clubs including Charlton Athletic, Leyton Orient, Brentford, Reading, Cardiff City, Colchester United, and Southend United, as well as non-league sides Woking and Dagenham & Redbridge. His playing career gave him a deep understanding of the game at a high level, and he draws on that experience to help athletes develop the technical ability, discipline, and mindset needed to succeed in football. Alongside his coaching work, Carl also scouts for Chelsea FC, West Ham FC, and Ipswich Town FC, giving him valuable insight into what top clubs look for in young players. His goal is to create engaging, structured sessions that help players improve their game while building confidence and character.
