Join us Jan 15-17, 2027 for a series of epic races in Bermuda. 3 races, 3 days, 1 beautiful island. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend.
The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge takes place each January in Bermuda during the U.S. The race weekend offers a distance and race for everyone: the BF&M 10k Run/Walk, the PwC Bermuda Half Marathon, and the PwC Bermuda Marathon. Or, for those interested in a unique challenge, extra bling (including a Finisher’s jacket!), and ultimate bragging rights, register for the Chubb Half Bermuda Triangle
Challenge (the Butterfield Front Street Mile on Friday night, the BF&M 10k on Saturday, and the PwC Bermuda Half Marathon on Sunday) or the Chubb Full Bermuda Triangle Challenge (the Butterfield Front Street Mile on Friday night, the BF&M 10k on Saturday, and the PwC Bermuda Marathon on Sunday). 3 races, 3 days, 1 beautiful island. Can YOU survive the Bermuda Triangle Challenge? In 2020 the PwC Bermuda Marathon course was changed from a two-loop course to a point-to-point course that starts in the historic Royal Naval Dockyard on the west end of the island. The new course, which was well-received by runners in its inaugural year, offers participants a running tour of the island, passing by some of Bermuda’s famous beaches and historic sights, including Gibb’s Lighthouse, the Railway Trail, and Flatts Village. The new course is also IAAF certified and is a Boston Qualifier. Plus, for those runners looking to have a little fun, both the PwC Bermuda Half and Full Marathon courses feature rum stops courtesy of Gosling’s. On Saturday and Sunday, participants are invited to celebrate their accomplishments at the post-race Finisher’s Villages, which offer a variety of free refreshments courtesy of Butterfield & Vallis, including local microbrew On De Rock beer, and free rum cocktails from Gosling’s, as well as live entertainment. You may even get to dance with Bermuda’s famous Gombeys! Compared to most locations in the US, Canada, and UK, the winter climate in Bermuda is mild, with average highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s, making it an ideal place to escape the harsh winter weather and run in paradise. Only a short 2-2.5-hour flight from most major US East Coast cities, and Toronto, Bermuda is a convenient destination for your next RUN-cation. A big thank you to our Bermuda Triangle Challenge community! Whether you’re dropping a comment, sharing our posts, or just hitting the like button, you’ve brought us across the finish line for Facebook’s “Emerging Talent” badge. 🏵️
We’re not ready for the elites quite yet, but we really do enjoy hearing from everyone who has run our races in the past, as well as those who are looking forward to joining us in the future!
If you don’t know what all the fuss is about, consider the PwC Bermuda Marathon as a mid-cycle training race for any of the spring marathon majors (without the snow, slush, or single digit temperatures!).
The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge also makes for a great destination race or run-cation.
2027 marks the 50th edition of the Bermuda Marathon, one of Bermuda’s most historic sporting events.
Fun fact: This was Joan Benoit Samuelson’s first marathon in 1978. She set out on a recovery run after placing first in the 10k the previous day, but felt strong enough to keep going. She not only finished the full 26.2 miles but came in second place overall and went on to win the Boston Marathon the following year.
If you’ve ever wanted to run the Bermuda Marathon (now the PwC Bermuda Marathon) this is the year to do it!
July is National Ice Cream Month and we’re celebrating with a sweet shoutout to Haagen Dazs!🍨🍦
After 13.1 or 26.2 miles a well-earned scoop hits differently.
Thanks to Häagen-Dazs and Butterfield & Vallis,
finishers of the PwC Bermuda Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay and Marathon can enjoy a sweet treat at Sunday’s Finish Festival.
Thank you for making the finish line even sweeter!
