Lotus Cup Europe - Zolder Belgium 2012 // Race 1 - Car #76 (JP-RACING). Result: DNF. Driver: Markus Nikowitsch Car: Lotus Exige #76, Exige Class. Grid position 5 overall, 1st in Class. Finished: DNF. The Driveshaft on the right side broke.

Race Results // Race 1: 2 laps before chequered flag I did a mistake and hit the right curb very heavily in the last chicane - touching ground again with both rightside wheels -> the driveshaft broke. Had to stop the car. Finito for this weekend. No time to get this repaired before race 2 starts. That´s really a shame, I´d to admit, that was definitly my driver´s mistake. The car isn´t to blame - it a dream to drive this precise tool of Jubu Performance motorsport engineering.
By the way: Thanks to the belgian marshalls, they did a great job the whole weekend!
For JP RACING - not the season final we had expected but nevertheless: The car is running perfect and we can now focus on my driving skills :-)

There IS good food available in Belgium, not only french fries or onions swimming in hot oil... We´ve found a really nice Italian restaurant near the racetrack: www.restaurant.be/dagennaro

We´re attending the final round 22./23.October 2012 in Lotus Cup Europe 2012 which happens in Zolder, Belgium. Our Exige ( #76, Driver: Markus Nikowitsch) is well prepared for that last 2 races this season.
