Starting this Saturday, I’ll be back behind the microphone from my home setup, covering an incredible week of world-class pool action from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳

From September 19-26, we’ll have the WPA Men’s 10-Ball World Championship, alongside the Box Billiards Mixed Doubles Open and the Saigon Women’s 9-Ball Open

With so many of the world’s best players competing across these events, it promises to be a fantastic week of pool! And I’m excited to be part of it once again as a commentator🎙️

Every great sporting event needs a voice that brings the action to life.

For the 2026 WPA Pudong Tangzhen 9-Ball China Open, that voice has been Tim De Ruyter 🇳🇱 — bringing his knowledge, energy and perspective to the English commentary throughout the event.

A competitive pool player himself and an experienced voice in international cue sports, Tim has been part of the action both on the table and behind the microphone.

Throughout the China Open, he helped bring the intensity, drama and defining moments of the event to fans watching around the world on WPALive.tv.

What a fantastic trip Tunisia has been, possibly one of the best destinations I’ve ever visited! 🇹🇳😍

Absolutely gutted to be leaving, but I’m 100% sure I’ll be back!

My game wasn’t quite consistent enough this time, finishing 33rd out of 128 participants. Plenty to work on, but we just keep going! 👊🏻

I was so happy to receive such a warm welcome from all the fans and friends in Tunisia. There are so many people I should thank, but for now, a special thank you goes out to Royal Class Billiards & Snooker for everything they’ve done for me during this trip! ❤️🇹🇳

African Open 2026 - Tunisia 🇹🇳

We had a fun opening ceremony today, they did the draw and Mika V. Berkel & I will play on sunday! 🇳🇱

Another Eurotour in the books! 🇪🇺

Glad to have been involved in the commentary box over the past two days. A big thank you to the and Predator Group for having me!

Congratulations to the winners, Mateusz Sniegocki and Pia Filler on winning the Italian Open! 🏆

Now it’s time to focus on myself. Three days of preparation before I head to Tunisia for the African Open 🇹🇳
