Our Story
To heal from bulimia, the first step is to understand that the origin of the problem is not bulimia but what creates it.
Bulimia is a symptom. It is the expression of deeper pains, fears, angsts. Bulimia is an addiction. The addiction is what imprisons you and pushes you to take action against your will. Whether it's food, alcohol, drugs, extreme behaviour, a compulsive need to control, act, or all at once ... as strange as it may seem to you, addiction is not a disease but a cure.
It is the only way you have found to get rid of your deeper fears, scary boredom, negative and repetitive thoughts that never go, and of doubts about yourself. It is a very archaic and destructive solution that helps you to create a moment out of the time, a time without your negative striped discs that turn in circles in your head.
