Wat een module!

Afgelopen weekend namen de deelnemers deel aan de vierde Basismodule Jager op Blackwoods van Airborne- events. Deze module vormt een steekproef om te bepalen hoever de kandidaten staan met hun milsimvaardigheden binnen JACAM.

We begonnen met depackage volgens Milsim West-stijl. Daarna stond het lantaarnspel op het programma: ongezien van punt A naar punt B geraken terwijl een OPFOR-patrouille het terrein bewaakte.

Vervolgens liepen de kandidaten wacht, waarbij OPFOR hen verschillende milsimscenario’s voorschotelde. Daarna volgde een groter scenario waarin de vaardigheden uit Skirm I, II en III werden getest. Aansluitend kregen de kandidaten een medisch milsimscenario voorgeschoteld.

Ook kaartlezen en radiocommunicatie kwamen uitgebreid aan bod. Tijdens een steroefening moesten de kandidaten vier coördinaten terugvinden. Op iedere locatie moesten ze een stukje uit een boekje lezen. Aan de laatste coördinaat maakten ze een merkschets, waarna ze een azimut moesten schieten om hun eindpunt te bereiken.

We sloten de module af met de final debrief en de uitreiking van de patches. Met trots mogen we twee nieuwe Jagers verwelkomen binnen onze rangen. Daarnaast begint een nieuwe kadet-Jager aan zijn traject. We wensen hem enorm veel succes met zijn af te leggen weg!

Dit resultaat is er niet zomaar gekomen. Ondertussen zijn we al een jaar bezig met de verdere uitwerking van JACAM. In dat jaar zijn er heel wat uren, inzet en energie in het project gekropen. Deze eerste volledig afgewerkte cyclus was dan ook een belangrijk moment voor ons. We zijn bijzonder blij met waar we vandaag staan en trots op wat we samen hebben opgebouwd.

Een speciale bedanking gaat uit naar Maarten van WSAP.airsoft voor zijn ondersteuning als hulp-marshal, naar het deelnemende team Falcons airsoft team en naar onze Rohirrim Marc.

Ook een dikke merci aan onze OPFOR. Dankzij jullie inzet, scenario’s en tegenspel werden de kandidaten voortdurend uitgedaagd en konden we hun vaardigheden op een realistische manier testen. Jullie waren een onmisbaar onderdeel van deze module!

Daarnaast willen we alle deelnemers bedanken, waaronder , ARES - Airsoft en house of aces. Jullie inzet en deelname hebben mee van deze module een succes gemaakt.

OPERATION BLACK VEIN: FACTION LORE ⚔️

🟥 ASHFALL GUARD: “From The Ruins, We Rise!"

Ashfall Guard was not created as a conventional military force.

It grew from the people left behind after the war: former soldiers (from both sides), resistance fighters, local leaders, industrialists and civilians who refuse to see the Ardennes controlled by another foreign power.

When North Star Command arrives, AG sees the deployment for what they believe it truly is: the beginning of a takeover.

A valuable resource has been discovered beneath their land, and a internationally backed security force has arrived to secure it. They intend to stop them.

But AG is far from united: some members fight for the independence of the region, some seek revenge against those who abandoned them during the war. Others see Black Vein as an opportunity to rebuild their communities and create a future on their own terms and some simply see an opportunity to gain power.

This makes Ashfall Guard unpredictable. Their commanders may share a common enemy, but they do not always share the same vision of what comes next.

Then strange information begins circulating within their ranks:
- Details of enemy movements
- Maps of areas no outsider should know
- Information about operations before they happen

Someone is watching. Someone knows more about Black Vein than they should, but Ashfall Guard has no intention of letting that stop them.

The oil reserves belong to the people who live in these lands. The only question is what they will become if they win.. 💀

OPERATION BLACK VEIN: FACTION LORE ⚔️

🟦 NORTH STAR COMMAND: "Order. Progress. Control".

North Star Command is an international security force created in the aftermath of World War II to protect the fragile stability of a Europe still recovering from years of conflict.

When the existence of Black Vein becomes known, NSC cannot afford to let the resource fall into the hands of a hostile power. A specially selected Task Force is deployed to the Ardennes to assess the situation, secure the most vital installations and establish control until further forces can be deployed.

Their mission is clear:
- Secure Black Vein
- Protect the infrastructure
- Gather Intel

However, the situation on the ground quickly proves far more complicated: the original research team has disappeared, supply routes are being attacked, extraction facilities have been sabotaged, and classified research has vanished.

The Task Force soon realises that the conflict did not begin with their arrival. Someone has been operating in the shadows. Someone with access to information that should be impossible to obtain.

North Star Command cannot afford to ignore the threat. Every delay gives its enemies time to strengthen their positions. For the Task Force, the objective remains simple:

Secure the installations. Control the region. Find the truth.

But the deeper they move into the Ardennes, the harder it becomes to determine who is actually in control... 💀
