This winter marked a turning point for Mist Connections.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been doing a lot of reflection — especially around what makes my approach to nature connection different. I’ve come to embrace something I once hesitated to claim: my work sits at the intersection of poetry and science.

Mist Connections activities are:
🌿 mindful and creative
🔬 firmly grounded in scientific research
🤝 accessible, inclusive, and safe

I don’t offer purely theoretical content, nor spiritualized experiences disconnected from evidence. I design experiences where participants can feel curious, relaxed, and confident — knowing they won’t be pushed beyond their comfort zone or asked to adopt any beliefs.

To strengthen this approach, I invested in advanced training and am now a certified Nature Connection Specialist, with additional certifications in:

Risk management for nature-based programs

Designing and implementing nature-based workshops for creativity

Designing and implementing nature journaling workshops

These certifications are a foundation, not a finish line.

This winter, I’m preparing two key steps:
🌱 Completing my final Nature Guide project (certification walk: March 22)
🌱 Finalizing the Mist Connections business plan to prepare for launch through a business incubator

Mist Connections is growing — thoughtfully, deliberately, and with deep respect for both people and nature.
