A gym without toxic macho behavior and competition!

Q***r Gym was never about chasing a "summer body." That's not the mission.
The mission is your quality of life. That means:

- building a healthier relationship with your body
- fixing posture that's been bothering you for years
- getting real flexibility and movement back
- putting you in a room with people who get it
- and just having a space where working out doesn't feel loaded

We're not here for bigger biceps. We're here for you, to help you grow, and to let your energy and perspective help us grow too.

See you soon!

Here are Boris’ favorites:

- Priscilla queen of the desert (1994)
- Thelma and Louise (1991)
- A perfect world (1993)

People forgetting Prince?

New q***r (and not-so-q***r) stars pop up every week, and that's great but let's not skip past the ones who actually paved the road. Prince. Bowie. Freddie. Madonna. Elton. They didn't just give us the soundtrack, they gave a lot of q***r kids permission to be themselves. On the street, in a bar, at the club, in the gym.

So today we're taking a minute for the icon. Rest in power, Prince. We stan.

Summer's not slowing us down. The team's growing tighter. The space is getting a refresh. We're leveling up how we communicate, our classes, our equipment. Basically, we're not sitting still.

Worth pausing for a second to say: none of this happens without you. Our members, our community. You're the reason Q***r Gym gets to exist every single day.

We still can't imagine doing anything else. Being one of the q***r spaces Ghent — and Belgium — actually needs? That's the job we signed up for.

Whether you're scrolling from afar or training with us weekly: thank you for being part of this. Hope to see you soon! 🥰

Meet Gerland, one of the trainers who's been with us longest, and the one you want in your corner for posture and movement work. If your body doesn't move the way you want it to, Gerland's your person.

We hire trainers with all kinds of backgrounds on purpose. Different experience means we can actually match the right coach to the right client, instead of pretending one approach fits everyone.

So if you think you'd add something new to the team, swing by, have a chat. We're always looking for trainers who are sharp, respectful, and genuinely into this. 👋

One of Wasseem's most fulfilling moments since building this place? Ballroom for Palestine. 🖤

An event that brought together people from immigrant backgrounds, giving them a space to exist, connect, and feel genuinely welcome. Nearly 200 people showed up. Funds were raised for Palestine. And something real happened in that room.

That's what this place is about beyond the weights and the workouts. Community that actually shows up for each other.

We keep doing events like this and if you have an idea, we mean it when we say reach out. We're always open to making something happen together. 💛

"Last night, the World Cup final was played. And we have thoughts."

Be honest, do q***r people actually not care about football? Or have we just never really felt welcome in it? Because there's a difference. We're not asking for rainbow stadiums or a drag show at halftime. We're asking for the q***r football fans and players who exist — and they do exist — to be safe and welcome regardless of their gender or sexuality. That's it.

Male professional football has one of the lowest rates of openly out athletes of any major sport. You can count the active openly gay players in top flight football on one hand. Compare that to rugby, basketball, athletics and the contrast speaks for itself.

And when the sport's biggest tournament lands in a country tracking 530 anti-LGBTQ bills, with visa rules that could out transgender fans at the border, maybe the question isn't whether we care about football.

Male football not being the most LGBTQI-friendly community is one thing. But a country actively rolling back q***r rights while hosting what FIFA called "the most inclusive World Cup ever" — that's not irony. That's a lie.

Three Lions Pride stayed home this summer. So did Germany's Q***r Football Fanclub. Not out of indifference. Out of self-preservation. That says everything.
We're not letting that go unnoticed. 🏳🌈

Ten years of baby steps. 🖤

Wasseem's story of coming out isn't one big moment — it's a quiet, personal journey of learning to know yourself, accept yourself, and eventually love yourself fully.

He got there. And we're proud to have him here. 💛

Q***r Gym is going virtual. 🖤

From day one, this space has been about showing up exactly as you are. But safe fitness spaces and specialized, gender-affirming coaching shouldn't be something only people in the right city have access to.

No matter where you are in the world, you can now train directly with the Q***r Gym coaches.

Custom 4-week training blocks via the Everfit app, video form checks, weekly support, monthly 1-on-1 coaching calls, and specialized gender-affirming tracks — for silhouette building, pre/post-op fitness, or general strength. Built around your body and your goals.

And because financial barriers disproportionately affect our community — we're launching with a solidarity rule baked in. For every 5 paying online members, we fully fund 1 spot for a community member facing financial hardship. No compromises.

We're opening exactly 10 pilot spots. Those 10 spots directly unlock 2 fully funded solidarity spots from day one.

Want in? Comment ANYWHERE or DM us, whether you're securing a coaching spot or applying for the solidarity waiting list. Both matter. 💛

Gentse Feesten starts tonight. Ghent, are you ready? 🎉

10 days of pure chaos in the city center and if you're looking for something q***r, Que Club at Belfortstraat 39 has you covered with non-stop LGBTQ+ parties all the way through. And this Friday, Sint-Baafsplein goes full Pink Thursday, LGBTQIA+ themed all night long. 🖤

But Gentse Feesten is whatever you make it, baby.
All parties, no parties, or somewhere in between, we're here every single day of the festivities. Except Tuesday the 21st, national holiday, even we need a breather.

Come train, come hang, come recover from last night. We'll take it without judgment. 💛

And please — take care of that gorgeous body in between the chaos. Rest is not weakness.

See you out there. 🌈
