The 2026 edition of the Gran Premio Storico d’Italia will welcome a familiar face from both Formula 1 and Ferrari history : 𝗚𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢 𝗙𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗔 🇮🇹

One of the most experienced Italian drivers of his generation, Giancarlo Fisichella spent 14 seasons in Formula 1, making 229 Grand Prix starts and racing for teams including Jordan, Benetton, Renault and Scuderia Ferrari. His career featured three Grand Prix victories and 19 podium finishes, with memorable successes in Brazil, Australia and Malaysia.

In 2009, Fisichella realised a childhood dream when he joined Scuderia Ferrari for the final five races of the season. His connection with the Maranello marque would continue well beyond Formula 1, as he became one of the key drivers in Ferrari’s GT and endurance racing programmes, representing the Prancing Horse at some of the world’s most prestigious events.

From Formula 1 to endurance racing, Giancarlo Fisichella’s career has been closely linked to the history of Italian motorsport and Ferrari.
