WHERE ARE THEY NOW? 🌍🏀

Breein Tyree spent the 2022-23 season with BC Oostende, helping the club win the BNXT SuperCup and the Belgian Championship. His outstanding performances also earned him a place in the BNXT Dream Team that season.

Following his impressive campaign, Tyree attracted interest from several major European clubs and has competed in European competitions every season since leaving the BNXT League.

After multiple seasons in the Basketball Champions League, he joined PAOK Saloniki midway through last season, where he immediately established himself as the team’s leading guard and once again showcased his elite scoring ability. Following PAOK’s run back to the FIBA Europe Cup Finals, the Greek club returns to the EuroCup this season, with Tyree re-signing to continue leading the way.

Savior Melfor is headed back to Rotterdam! 🚀

Zeeuw & Zeeuw Rotterdam City strengthen their roster with the signing of Sevior Melfor, The 21-year old is rejoining Rotterdam after a 2 year stint at ZZ Leiden.

Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, Yoeri Schoepen officially announced his retirement from professional basketball after 12 seasons at the highest level. A true product of Antwerp basketball, Schoepen finished his career in the most memorable way possible, helping Windrose Giants Antwerp win the Belgian Cup, BNXT League and Belgian Championship to complete a historic treble.

Yoeri Schoepen leaves the game with an incredible legacy at the club he has called home for so much of his career.

Donar Groningen strengthen their frontcourt with the signing of Georgian international Aleksandre Merkviladze. The 24-year-old joins the team for the upcoming season, after spending last season at Coretec Oostende.

The Orange Lions are getting ready for their next challenge, with 6 BNXT League players included in the selection of 15 players preparing to face Germany and Croatia in the FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers. 🇳🇱

The Lions take on Germany on Thursday, August 27. A few days later they host Croatia, on August 30th. 🔥

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? 🌍

Myles Cale spent two seasons with Hubo Limburg United, helping the club lift the 2024 Belgian Cup while establishing himself as one of the league’s premier two-way players. From there, his career continued to rise. Cale earned a move to Dolomiti Energia Trento, where he competed in Italy’s top division and the EuroCup.

Although he signed a two-year deal, his outstanding performances quickly caught the attention of FC Barcelona. For the 2025-26 season, Cale made the move to the EuroLeague giants, competing in both the Liga Endesa and the EuroLeague as Barcelona once again challenged among Europe’s elite.

Now another big step awaits as it was announced yesterday that Myles Cale will be part of Asvel Lyon’s squad next season in France’s LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague.

The Belgian Lions are getting ready for their next challenge, with 10 BNXT League players included in the final selection of 14 players preparing to face Czechia in the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Pre-Qualifiers. 🇧🇪

The Lions take on Czechia on Thursday, August 27, at the COREtec Dôme in Oostende. 🔥
