This weekend, the Belgian National Flag Football Team had the privilege of taking part in the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Brussels at the iconic Parc du Cinquantenaire.

Alongside the Belgian National American Football Team, we were proud to showcase our sports to the public and share our passion with visitors from all backgrounds. Events like this provide invaluable opportunities to raise awareness of flag football and American football in Belgium, connect with new audiences, and foster future collaborations and partnerships.

While people may hold different views on political matters, our participation was focused solely on sport and the values it represents: respect, teamwork, inclusion, and community. Sport has a unique ability to bring people together, create meaningful connections, and inspire future generations.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the U.S. Embassy for their invitation, hospitality, and outstanding organization of this memorable event. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time and energy throughout the day—players, coaches, volunteers, staff members, partners, and federation representatives. Your commitment made this experience possible.

It was a day filled with activities, new connections, exciting opportunities, and lasting memories. We are honored to have represented Belgian flag football on such a special occasion and look forward to continuing our efforts to grow the sport across Belgium.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, participated, and shared this celebration with us. Here's to many more opportunities to grow our game and strengthen our community together.

We had the honor of welcoming the Netherlands national team for a friendly Flag Football game, a sport that continues to grow rapidly and bring together more and more passionate players. Thank you to them for making the trip, and especially for sharing their expertise, leading sessions, and delivering high-quality drills. A true source of inspiration for everyone involved!

A big well done as well to our coaches for their dedication and hard work on the field, and to our volunteers and referees who helped provide a structured and professional environment for this event.

Thank you at the Andenne Arena for making their field and facilities available, allowing us to host this event in the best possible conditions.

And of course, thank you to our supporters for their presence and energy throughout the day 💪
