Annelies likes to climb. Properly climb.

So the brief was pretty clear:

Build a climbing bike that happens to carry an Australian Shepherd.

Sounds slightly mad.
Turned out pretty damn good.

Eight years after we built her custom Omnium, working on a bike with Annelies is still a pleasure. She does her homework. Every detail is researched, questioned and thought through before we even start.

Then we add our experience, challenge a few choices, confirm others, and slowly everything falls into place.

That process became this Bombtrack Munroe.

Omnium carbon rims laced to Hope hubs.
Light where it matters. Strong where it needs to be.
Every gram considered, without turning it into a weight-weenie exercise or a display of expensive parts.

12.3 kg. Fully dressed.

For something built to climb hard and carry a four-legged passenger, we’ll happily take that.

No component snobbery.
No unnecessary flex.

Just good homework, good conversations and smart choices.

Function before form.

And once again, getting the function exactly right somehow resulted in a pretty damn beautiful bicycle.

August at Steershop moves at a slightly different rhythm.

From August 25 till September 5, Lise & Ben will be out to clear their heads, ride bikes and recharge the batteries.

The doors will be closed, but Brecht keeps the wheels turning and will take care of all already confirmed appointments. So if your bike is booked in: nothing changes. We got you.

Before we disappear, we’re clearing some space.

21–22 AUG — SUPER CLOTHING STOCK SALE

Two days of digging through our current clothing stock. Good stuff. Current season. Seriously good prices. Time to make some room.

The shop needs to be emptied by mid-October, which means our yearly stock sale is going to hit a little different this year.

10–11 OCT — THE YEARLY MEGASALE

Rental bikes. Test bikes. Stock bikes.
One weekend. A serious amount of bicycles looking for a new home.
