🔔 Gong The gong echoes with a deep, grounding sound that seems to fill the space. It slows everything down for a moment, marking transitions and giving weight to the lion’s most important movements.

The drum is the heartbeat of lion dance. Its rhythm feels like a pulse you can follow — calling the lion to wake, step forward, leap, or freeze in place. When the drum changes, the lion changes with it.

Sifu Wong Man Sun
In Chinese culture, a Sifu (師父 / 师父) is more than a teacher. The title represents a mentor who passes on knowledge, discipline, values, and tradition through years of dedication and training. It reflects a relationship built on respect, guidance, and shared growth.
Through Kung Fu, Dragon Dance, and Lion Dance, Sifu Wong Man Sun continues to pass these traditions on to the next generation through Choi Lee Fat Belgium.
We are grateful for his guidance, dedication, and the inspiration he provides to all his students. 🙏

On December 4th we took part in one of the many days of MASmoves at MAS Antwerpen.
During the exhibition in MAS, artist shows that dance is a universal language presented in different (sub)cultures.

A memorable throwback to 2012. 🕰️
We opened the doors of our first Kung Fu and Lion Dance school in the heart of Antwerp (Lange Beeldekensstraat) near De Coninckplein. Here’s to all the memories we’ve made, and to the ones still to come! ☺️
