Prof Dr Md Khalilur Rahman Memorial Football Tournament Prof. Dr. Md. This event celebrates not only his contributions to academia but also his enduring impact on the SUST community.

Khalilur Rahman Memorial Football Tournament is held in loving memory of the founding Head of the Department of Chemistry at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). A visionary academic and devoted educator, Dr. Khalilur Rahman played a pivotal role in shaping the department and significantly contributed to the growth of the university. Following his passing in 2023, this tournament

was initiated to honor his legacy, bringing together students, alumni, and faculty in the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and remembrance.

Congratulations to Selignites on booking their place in the Season 3 Final after a hard-fought victory over Gallium Sparks in Semi Final 2.

It was a tactical battle where both sides defended brilliantly and gave away very few chances. Gallium Sparks showed why they are former champions, with goalkeeper Towfiq producing a series of outstanding saves to keep his team in the contest.

In the end, it took a moment of magic from Antor to separate the two teams. One decisive strike was enough to send Selignites into their first ever final and complete an incredible turnaround after last season's semi-final exit.

Credit to Gallium Sparks for a spirited campaign and a performance full of resilience. They fought until the final whistle and once again showed the quality that has made them one of the tournament's most respected teams.

Arsine Force are through to the Season 3 Final, defeating Bromine Gunners in Semi Final 1 and earning a chance to defend their crown.

It was a complete team performance from start to finish. Shakib, Fahim, and Shafi stood firm at the back, while Saikat covered every blade of grass with an incredible work rate. Captain Juwel once again led from the front, inspiring his side when it mattered most.

Nabil produced a performance of the highest quality, controlling the game from start to finish and deservedly earning the Pure Harvest Man of the Match award. Kawsar, Shahin, Redwan, and Jubair all played their part with energy, composure, and moments of brilliance that made the difference.

A huge congratulations to Arsine Force for reaching back to back finals. One more step remains between them and consecutive championships.

A special mention to Bromine Gunners for an outstanding debut campaign. Sazid, Zisan, and the entire squad exceeded expectations and announced themselves as a team with a very bright future. Leading the way is Juwel (Arsine Force) with 2 assists. Last season's Golden Boot winner has once again shown that he is more than just a goalscorer, creating chances and making the difference when his team needs him most.

Matching him on 2 assists is one of the biggest surprises of the tournament, Zisan, the goalkeeper of Bromine Gunners. From the last line of defense to setting up attacks, his vision and distribution have caught everyone's attention.
