Saleh Ahmed Bhuia Khokon is the name of a legend in the country's endurance running world. Age is just a number to him. He established running as an alternative constitution to illness and disease. This simple, ever-smiling man spreads the running from village to remote countryside, city alleys and alleys. Diseases and drugs are becoming free from boys to old people, new runners are being made through his inspiration . His day starts at dawn with sometimes a half marathon, marathon, or sometimes an ultra marathon. It is hard to say how many people have joined his group inspired by this activity of this man. Over 50-years aged this man has participated in countless half-marathons, marathons and ultra-marathons at home and abroad and has earned numerous podium finishes to his credit. সালেহ আহমেদ ভুইয়া খোকন দেশের এন্ডুরেন্স রানিং জগতের এক কিংবদন্তীর নাম। বয়স তার কাছে একটি সংখ্যা মাত্র। তিনি অসুখ ও রোগের বিকল্প সংবিধান হিসাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন রানিংকে । সরল, সদা হাসোজ্জল এই মানুষটি রানিং কে ছড়িয়ে দিচ্ছেন গ্রাম থেকে প্রত্যন্ত গ্রামান্তরে, শহরের অলিতে গলিতে। রোগ ও অষুধমুক্ত হচ্ছে ছেলে থেকে বুড়ো, তৈরি হচ্ছে নতুন রানার। তার দিন শুরু হয় ভোর বেলায় কখনো হাফ ম্যারাথন, কখনো ম্যারাথন, কখনো আল্ট্রা ম্যারাথনের মাধ্যমে। এই মানুষটির সকালের এই এক্টিভিটিতে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে কত লোকজন যে তার দলভুক্ত হয়েছে তা বলা মুশকিল। পঞ্চাশোর্ধ এই মানুষটি দেশে বিদেশে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন অগণিত হাফ ম্যারাথন, ম্যারাথন ও আল্ট্রা ম্যারাথনে এবং সুনামের সাথে অর্জন করেছেন অগ্র সারির অসংখ্য পোডিয়াম। প্রতি বছরের মত এবারও তিনি অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন ওয়ার্ল্ড এর দির্ঘতম সমুদ্রের তীড় ঘেষে দেশের দির্ঘতম আল্ট্রা ম্যারাথন কোস্ট্রাল ম্যারাথনের ১০০ কিলোমিটার ক্যাটাগরিতে এবং অতিক্রম করেন ফিনিশিং লাইন। তার নেত্রিত্তে বহুদুর এগিয়ে যাক দেশের রানিং কমিঊনিটি। তার এই অর্জনে রান রাইড ময়মনসিংহ আজ গর্বিত। রান রাইড ময়মনসিংহ এর পক্ষ থেকে তার জন্য অনেক অনেক অভিনন্দন ও নিরন্তর শুভকামনা।

জনাব জহিরুল কবির শাহিন দেশের এন্ডুরেন্স রানিং জগতের এক কিংবদন্তীর নাম। যিনি অসুখ ও রোগের বিকল্প সংবিধান হিসাবে রানিং কে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন তিনি হলেন জহিরুল কবির শাহিন। তিনি দীর্ঘ বিশ বছর বিভিন্ন রোগের ওষুধ খেয়েছেন এবং অবশেষে এক যাদুকাঠির সংস্পর্শে এসে ছুড়ে ফেলেছেন সব রোগ ও অষুধকে, আর তা হল রানিং। আর আজ তিনি এই যাদুকাঠি (রানিং) ছড়িয়ে দিচ্ছেন গ্রাম থেকে প্রত্যন্ত গ্রামান্তরে, শহরের অলিতে গলিতে। রোগ ও অষুধমুক্ত হচ্ছে ছেলে থেকে বুড়ো, তৈরি হচ্ছে নতুন রানার। তার দিন শুরু হয় ভোর বেলায় কখনো হাফ ম্যারাথন, কখনো ম্যারাথন, কখনো আল্ট্রা ম্যারাথন বা শত কিলোমিটার সাইক্লিং এর মাধ্যমে। নেত্রকোনার এই মানুষটির সকালের এই এক্টিভিটিতে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে কত লোকজন যে তার দলভুক্ত হয়েছে তা বলা মুশকিল। মাঝবয়েসী এই লোকটি দেশে বিদেশে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন অগণিত হাফ ম্যারাথন, ম্যারাথন ও আল্ট্রা ম্যারাথনে এবং সুনামের সাথে অর্জন করেছেন অগ্র সারির অসংখ্য পোডিয়াম। সেই ধারাবাহিকতায় তিনি অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন ওয়ার্ল্ড এর দির্ঘহতম সমুদ্রের তীড় ঘেষে দেশের দির্ঘতম আল্ট্রা ম্যারাথন কোস্ট্রাল ম্যারাথনের ১৬১ কিলোমিটার (১০০ মাইল) ক্যাটাগরিতে এবং থার্ড রানার আপ হিসাবে ফিনিশিং লাইন অতিক্রম করেন। তার নেত্রিত্তে বহুদুর এগিয়ে যাক দেশের রানিং কমিঊনিটি। তার এই অর্জনে রান রাইড ময়মনসিংহ আজ গর্বিত। রান রাইড ময়মনসিংহ এর পক্ষ থেকে তার জন্য অনেক অনেক অভিনন্দন ও নিরন্তর শুভকামনা।
