Closing Ceremony of 12th National Airgun Championship-2026 (June 17-20)

12th National Airgun Championship begins at BSSF. The four-day 12th National Airgun Championship, organized by the Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation (BSSF), commenced on 17 June 2026 at the BSSF Shooting Range. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Aminul Haque, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Md. Mahbub UI Alam, Honorable Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports, attended the ceremony as the Special Guest.

The program was presided over by Mr. Md. Rezaul Maksud Zahedi, President of the Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation. Mr. Abdus Salam Khan, Vice President of BSSF, Ms. Ferdous Ara Khanam, General Secretary of BSSF, and members of the Federation's Executive Committee were present among others.

A total of 248 participants are taking part in this year's championship, including 124 male shooters, 86 female shooters, 38 club officials representing 32 rifle and shooting clubs from across the country, and 30 competition officials.

The championship officially began with the opening ceremony on 17 June 2026 and will conclude with the prize-giving and closing ceremony on 20 June 2026.

🏃♂️ 20th Asian Games Fun Run Rally 2026 🏃♀️

The athletes, coaches, and officials of the Bangladesh Shooting Sport Federation (BSSF) proudly participated in the 20th Asian Games Fun Run Rally held on 10 June 2026, organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA).

The event brought together members of 23 national sports federations in a vibrant celebration of unity, friendship, sportsmanship, and the spirit of the Asian Games. The rally served as a platform to promote healthy lifestyles and raise awareness for the upcoming 20th Asian Games.

BSSF is honored to stand alongside fellow sporting federations representing Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Fencing, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate, Surfing, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Wushu.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Olympic Council of Asia and the Bangladesh Olympic Association for organizing this inspiring event and bringing together the sporting community of Bangladesh under one banner.

Together, we celebrate the power of sport, unity, and the journey towards the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
