Five rounds down, and the MCPCC family has plenty to cheer about! 🇧🇩♟ī¸

Bangladesh's women's team put in a strong 3-1 win over Honduras in Round 5 of the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Samarkand; Wadifa Ahmed, Noshin Anjum and Nusrat Jahan Alo all delivered on their boards.

The Open team held firm too, drawing 2-2 with Denmark, with GM Niaz Murshed grabbing the team's only win of the round.

Both sides now sit on 6 points after five rounds. Proud moment for Bangladeshi chess on the world stage! 🙌

Mirpur Cantonment Public Chess Club Day was successfully held last Thursday, bringing together hundreds of enthusiastic students who showcased their chess skills, strategic thinking and patience.

The event was organized in a peaceful, healthy and friendly environment, with several participants emerging as winners and champions through their performances.

Because chess is more than a game.it is a journey of strategy, patience and decision making. ♟ī¸

🎂 Happy belated Birthday to Sazzatul Miraz Ayaan — Joint Secretary, Department of Administration 🖤🤍

Some people attend meetings. Ayaan runs them without anyone noticing the difference. As Joint Secretary, he's mastered the rare skill of making chaos look like a well-organized spreadsheet; deadlines met, events sorted, and somehow still answering everyone's "just one quick question."
