Golf is better when it's shared... but it's just as rewarding when it's not. ⛳☀️
Some days, it's about catching up with friends over 18 holes.
Other days, it's just you, the course, and a little peace and quiet.
That's the beauty of golf. You can enjoy it at your own pace, whether you're looking for friendly competition, quality time with family, or a moment to yourself.
At Barbados Golf Club, every round is an opportunity to unwind, connect, and enjoy the outdoors.
So... are you the type to play with a foursome or enjoy a solo round? 👇🏌️

Think breaking 100 is all about hitting longer drives? Think again.
At Barbados Golf Club, lower scores come from making smarter decisions and learning how to play the course, not fighting it. Every round is an opportunity to improve, and a few simple course management tips can make a big difference.
Here are 6 tips to help you break 100 at BGC:
⛳ 1. Stay on your fairway. A 200-yard drive in your own fairway is far better than a 260-yard drive from the next fairway, the rough, or behind the trees. Position beats power every time.
🌬️ 2. Play the wind, don't fight it. The easterly winds can completely change a hole, so choose your club wisely.
🏖️ 3. Watch out for hidden bunkers. Not every bunker is visible from the tee box. Think about where you want your ball to finish before pulling the driver.
🌊 4. Be smart on Hole 16. If you find the water, take your drop, or play safely to the left of the green, and give yourself a chance to save the hole. Don't let one mistake become three.
🧠 5. Accept the bogey. Course management beats hero shots. Sometimes the smartest play is getting back into position and moving on.
🎯 6. Sharpen your short game. Chipping and putting are where you'll save the most strokes and see your scores come down. We have both chipping and putting practice areas.
Golf isn't about playing perfectly; it's about making better decisions one shot at a time.
